Your Skill Building Checklist

If 2022 has you interested in growth for your company, your people and/or yourself, this blog is for you.

Leaders: it is your responsibility to equip everyone on your team with the tools and training to be successful in their roles. In fact, according to workplace studies, this aspect, coupled with having clarity of expectations, is the most foundational element in an employee’s level of engagement.

Gallup research specifically identifies the strongest indicator of job stress is linked directly to an employee’s feeling of whether they have the tools, equipment, and training to do their job right. (What better way to help prevent burnout than to offer the right and timely developmental opportunities for everyone on your team?)

People: it is your responsibility to master a growth mindset. Seek out opportunities to improve your skills, take advantage of the training and development your organization (or network) offers, and most importantly, apply what you learn.

Take personal accountability to practice, ask for honest feedback and coaching, make the required adjustments and practice again until you have the confidence and muscle memory to perform at your highest level.

To ensure your path to success in 2022 through growth and mastery of skills, apply the following best practices:
